Abstract:Krüppel.like factor 9 (KLF9) is a transcription factor containing three Cys2His2 zinc finger structures with a wide range of biological functions, including regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation, apoptosis, differentiation, metastasis and invasion. This article discusses the biological features, expression in different tumors and regulatory mechanisms of KLF9, and the prospects for its future applications.
