Abstract:Sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors (SGLT-2i) are increasingly utilized in the treatment of type 2 diabetes, especially for their efficacy in weight reduction and improvement of cardiovascular and renal outcomes, and are progressively gaining widespread utilization in primary medical and healthcare institutions.
