Abstract:By collecting and sorting out the detailed discussion on the naming of adenoid hypertrophy in ancient books, this paper summarized that the ancient name of the disease generally comes from the three aspects of “symptoms”, “anatomical parts” and “pathological factors”. By sorting out the views of the ancients on the diagnosis and treatment of the disease through systematic summary, so as to provide ideas for the application of modern clinical prescriptions.
