Abstract:Endovascular therapy is a safe and effective treatment for acute ischemic strokes caused by anterior circulation tandem lesions. However, the optimal treatment approach remains uncertain. This article briefly summarizes the main endovascular treatment methods currently used, including the sequence of addressing distal and proximal lesions in acute anterior circulation tandem lesions, as well as the various strategies for managing proximal stenosis and distal embolization, aiming to provide a reference for the treatment of patients with acute anterior anterior circulation tandem lesions.
