Abstract:Objective To investigate the distribution and clinical value of CD4⁺ naive T cells(Tn),memory T cells (Tm),and CD8⁺ Tn and Tm in peripheral blood of patients with cervical cancer. Methods By a cross-sectional study between January 2020 and May 2020,30 patients with stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ cervical cancer in the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University were selected as observation group and 15 patients with cervicitis were served as control group.After the peripheral venous blood (2 ml) samples were collected,the levels of CD4⁺Tn,CD4⁺Tm and CD8⁺Tn,CD8⁺Tm were detected by flow cytometry. Results There was no significant difference in the level of CD4⁺Tn between two groups (t=1.96,P=0.06).Compared with control group,the level of CD8⁺Tn decreased (t=6.57,P<0.01),and the levels of CD4⁺Tm,CD8⁺Tm,CD4⁺Tm/Tn and CD8⁺Tm/Tn increased significantly(P<0.05,P<0.01).The levels of CD4⁺Tn and CD8⁺ Tn were negatively correlated with lymph node metastasis,while the levels of CD4⁺Tm,CD4⁺Tm /Tn and CD8⁺Tm/Tn were positively correlated with lymph node metastasis,and the levels of CD8⁺Tm and CD8⁺Tm/Tn were negatively correlated with clinical stage (P<0.05,P<0.01). Conclusion In early cervical cancer development,the anti-tumor immune reserve capacity gradually decreases,but the transformation of immune cells into memory T cells can enhance its immune efficiency so as to improve the anti-tumor immune response in the patients.
