Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the efficacy of digital preoperative planning and InterTan fixation in the treatmetn of patients with intertrochanteric fractures. Methods Sixty elderly patients with intertrochanteric fractures hospitalized in Shengli Oilfield Central Hospital from January 2018 to January 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. The digital preoperative planning combined with InterTan fixation was performed in experimental group(n=30), while the routine surgical fixation with InterTan was conducted in control group(n=30). The intraoperative indexes and Harris hip score at the last follow-up were compared between two groups. Results Compared with those in control group, operation time, intraoperative blood loss, X-ray fluoroscopy times and number of intraoperative adjustment of implants significantly decreased in experimental group（U=2.510，P=0.012）. All patients were followed up for 6 to 24 months after operation. There was no statistical difference in Harris score of hip joint at the last follow-up between two groups(P＞0.05). Conclusion In the surgical treatment of elderly patients with intertrochanteric fractures, digital preoperative planning plays an obvious role in shortening the operation time and reducing the amount of bleeding, the times of X-ray fluoroscopy and the number of intraoperative adjustment of implants.
