Abstract:Objective To observe the preventive effect of progesterone combined with progynova on postoperative bleeding,abdominal pain,menstruation and intrauterine adhesions in patients undergoing curettage after missed abortion.Methods Sixty patients with missed abortion operated from January 2018 to December 2018 were selected and randomly divided into control group and research group (n=30,each).Uterine curettage alone was conducted in control group,and progesterone combined with progynova was given after uterine curettage in research group.The postoperative degree and duration of abdominal pain,blood loss,bleeding time,recurrence time of menstruation,situations of menstrual volume and intrauterine adhesion were compared between two groups.Results After treatment,the abdominal pain in research group was significantly improved compared with control group (P<0.01).The time of abdominal pain and bleeding and the amount of bleeding in research group were significantly lower than those in control group（P<0.01）.The returning time of menses ［(21.13±4.26)d vs (27.07±3.54)d,P<0.01］,the abnormal rate of menstrual volume（13.33% vs 60.00%,P<0.01）,the incidence of intrauterine adhesions（3.33% vs 26.67%,P<0.05）in research group significantly decreased compared with control group.Conclusion Progesterone combined with progynova has an important effect on the bleeding and menstrual state of the patients receiving curettage after missed abortion,which can alleviate the abdominal pain,reduce the occurrence of postoperative intrauterine adhesions and help to improve the quality of life of the patients.
